Aidan Marshall

Lincoln-based Aidan Marshall fell in love with the complex strains of
classical guitar in childhood, and has dedicated well over a decade of his
life to mastering its' intricacies.
Aidan studied for some eight years under renowned guitarist Rob Johns, and is now not only a professional musician but a highly respected tutor in his own right.
He holds a particular admiration for Spanish and South American composers, with his performances typically featuring the works of Heitor Villa Lobos, Joaquin Turina, Fernando Sor, and Franscesco Tarrega.
Also amongst his repertoire are beautiful and complex pieces originally composed for cello by Johan Sebastian Bach. He performs not only with great technical expertise, but also enormous sensitivity and passion.
Well known in and around Lincoln, Aidan could recently be heard on the radio as a finalist in a countywide young musician contest. He has also twice performed, and twice collected awards, in prestigious young musicians' showcases.
His audiences range from a handful of quiet listeners in intimate candlelit
recitals, to the lively bustle of formal dinners. He recently delighted
guests at the esteemed Lincolnshire Ball with an al fresco recital, and is often in demand to perform at events all over the country.
Weddings are a particular speciality, with Aidan offering a bespoke service
tailored to the needs of each couple on their special day. The fluid,
effortlessly romantic pieces amongst his wide repertoire provide the perfect
backdrop, and bring a polished finishing touch to the most memorable of
days.
Aidan is also in demand at formal dinners, balls and cocktail parties, where
he demonstrates his flair for the livelier and more furious virtuosic side
of classical guitar.
