The Blues Connection

The Blues Connection are Pete, Helen and Bob, who together create an enjoyable laidback atmosphere of melodic blues related music. Helens beautiful deep bluesy voice fronts the fine finger style technique of Pete on  Acoustic Guitar and the marvellous natural talent of Bob on harmonica. All three members sing harmony and play various light percussion instruments.

The Trio play regularly at a number of local venues and have performed at more prestigious events including:-

The Colne Blues festival in 2003 & ‘05.
The Lincolnshire Show in the County Council Hospitality Arena 2004, ’05 & ’06.
The Little Theatre, Doncaster performing a History of the Blues in 2004.
Support to International Artistes Geoff Muldaur & Mary Flower in Leicester 2006.
Lincoln Folk Festival 2006.
The Phoenix Theatre, Leicester 2006
The Medieval Bishops Palace “Music In The Garden” 2005.
“Music on the Train” Sleaford to Wainfleet 2006.
The Rutland Chapter Harley Davidson Owners Group (HOG) rally.

They have also performed at fund raising events including:-

“Music In The Garden” afternoon concert in Norfolk to raise money for Houghton St. Giles church.
“Midsummer Magic” Concert for St. Barnabas Hospice
“Wish Upon a Star” foundation in Horncastle.

They also had a very successful evening performing at Alexanders Restaurant on New Years Eve 2006.
