slimline papas
Lincoln based legends the Slimline Papas rock! They play a heady selection of R & B, blues, swing, rockabilly and good old fashioned Rock 'n' Roll. Formed in 2003, the Slimlines are Pete O'Brien (double bass/vocals), Egly Lucas (guitar/vocals) and Martin Collins (drums/percussion).
Slimline Papas performances are conducted in a style all of their own with collective spontaneity and without tedious repetition. The beauty of the three piece line-up is the flexibility to take classic songs into uncharted territory. Many of the songs have a loose structure with some recognisable landmarks and the space in between is navigated by ear. They are not a guitar-led band but are very much an integrated threesome weaving around each other.
At home on stage in large venues, pubs, clubs or summer festivals the Slimline Papas are not just very fine musicians but great entertainers as well.
The Slimline Papas are the ideal band for your event

blues train
This four piece band was formed in 2005 because of a shared interest in the electric Chicago

the treehouse
The Treehouse are a musical sextet from Lincoln, combining a folk edge with an alternative rock sound. Their music displays a ‘raw edged gutsy passion’ which is derived from the muysical styles of singer songwriter Markus Coulson whilst Anna Bennet’s classical background adds an altogether beautiful, ethereal and haunting quality to the sound. Built around vocal harmonies and intelligent musical interplay it is easy to bridge similarities between The Treehouse and bands such as Fleetwood Mac, The Dandy Warhol’s and Laura Marling.

The Treehouse line up is completed by violinist Harriet Feaver, bassist Kevin Ashworth, & percussionist Kevin (Casey) Howden, the band have busied themselves since their inception crafting beautiful songs and playing a string of shows across the country.
